Another one gone.....

Kyleigh lost her 3rd tooth this morning at 6:30a. She was really concerned about losing her tooth in the middle of the nite. We said a little prayer right before bed. She came and woke me up this morning and said it fell out. She is so excited for the tooth fairy to come tonight.

First Day Of School

Today was the first day of school. Kyleigh is starting 1st Grade in Mrs. Felling's class. Zachary is starting Kindergarten in Mrs. Thompson's class. They were really excited to get to school this morning.

Happy 4th of July

Happy 4th of July.
We went to Aunt Patty and Uncle Joe's house for BBQ and swimming. Here is Katelyn on the slide.

Heart Surgery

Today my Mom had open heart surgery. Her surgery was Coronary Artery Bypass Graft +5 (or CABG). The heart surgeon had to bypass 5 of the arteries in her heart. She came out of the surgery doing great and it getting better by the hour. We are so thankful for the power of Priesthood blessings. Marlin along with a close family friend Rob Hamel were able to give Mom a blessing before her surgery. Thanks to the everyone who has prayed for my Mom. She will have a long recovery but everyday she is healing and moving forward.

Maui '09

This past week Kyleigh, Zachary, Katelyn and I went to Maui, Hawaii. Yes we left Marlin home with Marlin (not really sure who was watching who but they both survived). We had a great time relaxing, swimming, playing in the sand, watching movies, reading, and hanging out together. The kids did a great job with their swimming.

We got a pass to the pool at the Maui Weston. Kyleigh and Zach had a good time on the slide.

We called Zach "Nemo" because he swims with one arm. It was so cute.

After a few days Katelyn had fun playing and splashing in the water.
