Snow Filled Weekend

For our long holiday weekend we took the kids up to Pinetop to play in the snow (Thanks Jim and Diane for letting us stay at the cabin). There were several feet of snow on the ground. We arrived at 10:30pm on Thursday night. After we go the kids in the cabin and turned the heater on we went back out to start shoveling snow so we could park in the drive way. I think we finally got to bed by 1:00a. Everyone had a great time relaxing, watching movies, playing in the snow. We love going up to Pinetop!

This is the front of the Cabin.

This is where Katelyn and Marlin stayed warm while Kyleigh and Zach had fun sledding.

Zach would giggle all the way down the hill.

Kyleigh had a hard time keeping her 38lbs of body weigh centered so she kept spinning.

Kyleigh and Zach had a blast sleding.

Zach hard at work shoveling the driveway. He is a hard working kid.

Kyleigh was having fun.

Katelyn didn't like the cold. This was the only time she was outside all bundled up. Glad I took that picture.

Lets just call it the "tooth" post

Its all about Teeth this week at our house. Kyleigh finally lost her first tooth! Of course the tooth fairy came that night and left her 5 bucks! I couldn't believe it. I had a talk with the tooth fairy : ) . A few days later Marlin cut his first tooth on the bottom right. That would explain the drooling and fussying. Sorry I don't have a picture of his first tooth yet because he won't let me.

Running Club

Kyleigh is in the school running club. They run two days a week after school. They have 3 races that involve other schools. Today was the first "race". Kyleigh was the 139th girl to finish the race. She placed 4th in the Kindergarten girl group. Kyleigh you did a great job. Keep up the good work. We are proud of you.

Like Father Like Son

Zachary, like his Dad loves to do yard work. Whenever Marlin is outside, Zachary is outside. He is a really big help.
Zachary will follow his Dad the entire time to takes to mow the yard.

We just hope he continues to love yard work into his teenage years. He told us this morning he wants his own lawn mower for his 8th Birthday (only 4 more years to go).

Birthday Bowling

For Marlin's birthday we took Kyleigh and Zach bowling. We all had a great time.

Kyleigh did pretty well. Her second game her score was 62.

Zach was so cute rolling his ball. It took forever for his ball to hit the pins.

Happy Birthday Mom

Happy 66th Birthday Mom

Thanks for being the such and loving and giving Mother. You would always make sure we had everything we needed and wanted. Even if you had to do without for yourself. Thanks for working 12 hour night shifts so that you would be home during the day when we got home from school. Thanks for always coming to ALL my softball games. Thank you for helping out with our kids when we needed you.
We love you so much. Happy Birthday
